news before scratch!!

Animation is ready and now i am working on the editing of other video. I found a performer that i thing will be perfect for this performance! yeahhh!!there are many technical things that i have to take care of. and some thinking of the costume...working working working!!!

my plans for the future!

•My project has to do with the journey from adolescence to maturity. I focus on how a woman does this journey without really understanding it.  We never understand when we live some moments that these moments change us. We never understand when is the time that we really left adolescent and we went to maturity.

•The animation will show the development of the body as a girl grows up .The animation film will finish at the time that the girl is an adolescent. At this time there will be a connection with the myth Eugena and the girl’s hands will be cut. For me this will be the symbol of the transition from adolescence to maturity.

•Next to the animation there will be a real life video. In this video I will show some things that we leave behind when we grow up and some new things that enter our lives. The video will show some hands of a girl that holds things that represent the life of a girl and some hands of a woman that represent some things of a woman’s life. The hands for me will be the medium to show the differences between the life of a woman and a girl.

•The performer will be the conclusion of my project. The performer will be the one that will mention how some moments chance us and make us more mature. The performer will refer the journey that a girl does from adolescence to maturity.

 2 projectors ,sound system and speakers, 1 camera, lights: from college

we are ready for the show tomorrow.Martina and Anthony are great!!!There was a difficult way up to here but now everything is ready!

i chose red light for Anthony and blue light for Martina to make a contrast.Agnes -Martina has a cold light because se comes from a dream and Anthony has a warm but strange light because he is human but in that time he lives in his imagination.It think that the result will be nice.

Directing Martina and Anthony was a very good experience!!it was the first time i 've done something like that but guys were so good and easy to work with. I tried to have simplicity and i hope this will work tomorrow.

phase lapse

i watched  the performance by Group 2 and i really liked it!!! it was simple which was good and it seemed like the group had the same vision for it. I enjoyed the atmosphere and it felt like it was a contemporary approach to some kind of ritual theatre. The main subject of it was the body of the performance and i think this body transferred the cultures of many countries and the history of them. The scenery was simple as i would like it to be and the performer was reflecting the idea behind the performance very well.

the whole concept was great!!  

PROJECT PROPOSAL-SOLO PROJECT-DIPLOMA STAGE

I am working on a video for my solo performance which is based on a Greek myth called Eugena  .My interpretation of the myth is that it deals with the transition from an adolescent girl to a mature woman.

I will show that subject using animation and live action on the screen .

I researched this subject by reading books about myths

and about adolescence and feminine psychology and i researched this also visually .I created an animated character that has the image of Eugena as I picture her in my mind and then I chose a performer with whom I work on the video of the live action.

My aim is to create a video that shows the change of an adolescent girl to a mature woman and how this happens without trying to be obvious but with some elements of fantasy . I want to show that this change happens so fast that a woman never understand when it really happens .I n addition I want to achieve a good level of artistic outcome.

I chose to use video because I wanted to see the action as images and not like the theatre live action on a stage. I like the aesthetic of animation in this project because I want to show my subject in a non realistic way.  The fictitious presence of this character will show this subject from a distance of a real human nature but also will let the audience to have their own interpretation of it and find themselves in it.

I am not sure if I will present that in a space or I will present that in web. I will decide that when I will have the final result
