about the mask

i chose to make a mask for Agnes in "the dreamplay" our group project. she wears a mask to separates herself from mankind.She is a goddess and as a goddess someone could say she is the fake hope of mankind for a better life..Soi thought that the mask should present a non naturalistic face but not completely different from human face.a way of non looking naturalistic and also have a connection with the video that will be projected would be to make a face look like animated. that could only mean that Agnes is an imaginary person. so i made the mask look like animated using plastic ,papier mache ,news papers colours and PVA ..i wanted Agnes to look innocent and a little melancholic  about what she sees...
